Lis Wiehl is an American writer and legal analyst who was formerly a Fox News analyst.
She is currently an adjunct law professor of law at New York Law School. Before that she served as an associate professor of University of Washington Law School. She has offered legal commentary on National Public Radio program and on Bill O'Reilly's radio program, The Radio Factor. She was a regular guest on The O'Reilly Factor as well Lou Dobbs Today, The Kelly File With Megyn Kelly and Neil Cavuto and The Kelly File.
Wiehl was born in Yakima she attended West Valley High School. She is a graduate of a Bachelor of Arts at Barnard College and an MA in Literature (University of Queensland) along with a JD at Harvard Law School.
Wiehl served as prosecutor at the US Attorney's office. She worked as a correspondent for legal issues to the NPR program All Things Considered. She served as assistant chief investigator counsel to Democrats in the House Judiciary Committee in Clinton's impeachment. She was a law professor as a tenured law professor at University of Washington School of Law Seattle in charge of the Trial Advocacy Program from 1995 through 2001. Wiehl served as a Fox News Legal Analyst from the year 2001 through 2017.
