Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise is a popular American singer, writer and actress who is well-known for her role as Ginger Grant in the 1960s television series Gilligan's Island. Her acting career began in stage shows during the 1950s starting with Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. After that, she acted on Broadway in a variety of performances until 1957 when Li'l Abner became huge at the National Theater. In the same year, she recorded her first album of songs, called It's Time to Tina. Her debut appearance into Hollywood was as Griselda as Griselda in the film God's Small Acre, which was a 1958 drama. The film was met with wide applause. Louise won the Golden Globe Award under the New Star of the year category. As an undergraduate of Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. The next role she starred in was with the year 1964, when she enrolled with CBS to play Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise kept juggling her career effectively between Broadway television and Hollywood portraying somber characters as against her perceived image of an attractive model. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series and Sanctuary, although she made a mark as a successful television director with numerous series, including Supernatural & The 100. Born in Essex on the 28th of August on the 28th of August, 1965. The family moved to Toronto to spend her youth. Then she settled in Vancouver after she was selected to play Samantha Carter.
