Lindsey-Vonn

Lindsey Vonn (born 18 Oct 1984) is an ex-retired American alpine skiing champion, who was awarded gold in the downhill event at the Winter Olympics in 2010. She has the second highest overall score of all skiers, male and female. She is the most famous as well as one of America's most loved skiers. Caroline Vonn, a World Cup alpine skier in America with the nickname Lindsey Vonn represents the US Ski Team. There have been four occasions she was named the winner of the World Cup overall competition. It is a professional athlete who has earned a name for herself in American culture. She's one of just six women in history to have won the five World Cup races for alpine-skiing. All told, she has been awarded an impressive 82 World Cup championships. After the World Championships in Sweden, one of the most talented and most skilled ski racers in America is set to retire. Four-time World Cup winner decided to retire after battling a variety of ailments. Social media was her way to declare her decision to retire.
